Every member of the KCOM team is family. KCOM is committed to performing work with zero incidents by providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. We have developed a comprehensive corporate Health and Safety Manual (HASM) that identifies our health and safety guidelines, protection measures, and goals. For each project, we draft a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan (SSHASP) to address the specific hazards and protective measures for that job. KCOM’s standards are compliant with all applicable regulations. All of our personnel are trained, monitored, and mentored according to these guidelines. KCOM also utilizes proven behavior based safety techniques to identify, measure, analyze, and teach safe behaviors.

KCOM requires its subcontractors to be prescreened for their commitment to health and safety, and are required to follow KCOM’s safety standards while working at a project site.

Subcontractors are also included in daily safety meetings, site orientations, and project audits and inspections. This ensures a safe working environment for site personnel, as well as our clients and communities.
